Water Water Cycle Cycle
By Tristen and Jacob
The water cycle is important to our everyday lives because it keeps us healthy, clean and just for having fun in the summer, as well as many other things. there are 7 parts to the water cycle. They are evaporation, condensation, transpiration, run off, infiltration, and Precipitation. Evaporation is when water from lakes, rivers, the ocean, etc. rise into the air in a gas state. Condensation is when water goes from a gas state to a liquid state. Transpiration is the process of water going through plants. Run off is when water from precipitation runs down hills or incline like places. Precipitation is rain, snow, sleet or hail and infiltration is when water goes down through the soil. All of these parts of the cycle are very important for the earth and for humans. Because these cycles help make plants and give us water to use. Water is very important for us, we use it everyday. Examples of how important water is and how we use it everyday are we can drink it to keep us hydrated, to keep ourselves clean by taking showers and keeping us cool in the heat of the summer. Water can exist in 3 states: Liquid, Solid, and Gas. Examples of these states of water are Ice(solid), Water vapor(gas), and the water in a water bottle(liquid).

We chose to do the water cycle because it is easy to understand and it is very important to know and doing this page can help people understand more about the water cycle and learn things they didn't know. Our explanation is very easy to understand we simply broke down what happens in each part of the cycle.

Evaporation
The process of water molecules escaping the surface
of the earth and entering the atmosphere is known as evaporation. Evaporation takes place as molecules of water escape from a collective body of water. This can be a puddle of water, a stream, lake, or just a droplet of water. As the molecules evaporate it takes some of the from the object it evaporated from. Just like when on a hot day when the sweat evaporates from your body it takes some of the heat with it this cause our bodies to cool down.
